I’m Jax, and I am proud to be interning with The Relationship Lab this year! I am currently in the Master of Social Work program at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville - Nashville Campus. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. In session, I like to utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. To me, therapy needs to be real and relational. We all must show up as our authentic selves to receive the best results! I know that starting therapy can be a daunting task, but I believe that connection eases that tension.  I see the value in a genuine therapeutic relationship and look forward to building those connections with new clients. Outside of seeing clients, I love playing with my pug, needlepoint, and playing video games! I am excited to get the chance to work with you.
